January 2001

The weak New Zealand dollar has favoured international tourists especially those from Europe and America. Korean visitors are once again on the increase and are proving to be more understanding of the extra cost associated with the supply of a reliable quality product. As a consequence the season is proving very positive for the tour coach industry. The message to agents is to book early and ensure a clear confirmation of the type of vehicle to be used.

This photo is a graphic example of the diversity of coach standards presently used within the New Zealand tour coach industry.

Reesby's are confident in the knowledge of operating the largest fleet of late model, 50 plus seater luxury coaches in New Zealand. The current fleet model age range is between 1993 to 2001.

These factors reinforce the promise extended in the company mission statement:-

"To provide the best possible Drivers, Coaches and Service within New Zealand".

Our coaches are based in Auckland, Rotorua and Christchurch. We do not profess to provide the cheapest rate, however, we guarantee a quality of safety and service that cannot be matched in the current luxury tour coach market.

The goal of Reesby's is to establish a niche market of coach travel for the discerning visitor, similar to that, which currently exists within the hotel industry.

Coach 72Reesby's are pleased to announce the arrival of Coach 72, a 50 seater, two door, toilet equipped luxury coach.

The coach is fitted throughout in the most modern of Holdsworth's fabric designs, and ALL seats are fitted with safety belts. The addition of this coach expands the 50 + seater fleet to seven coaches. See Our Fleet for details.

Risk Management

All coaches have safety belts fitted in the front and exposed seats.
New tyres only are used, no recaps.
Reclining seats, video and air suspension provide maximum comfort.
Reesby's now outsource major mechanical work to "manufacturer accredited agents". There is an accredited Mercedes service centre on site.
Rigorous in-house service checks are carried out on every coach at 5000-km intervals.
All coaches are kept in an immaculate condition. Body work is kept free from dents and scratches and upholstery is maintained in an "as new" condition.

Drivers

Our drivers are carefully chosen. Each driver is a full time professional, individually employed by Reesby Coachlines. Their motto is to ensure passenger enjoyment with safety being of primary importance.

All coaches have cellular phone communication.

Drivers are required to adhere to our strict uniform code to ensure a professional appearance at all times.
All drivers are able to deliver professional and current commentaries for both the North and South Islands

Booking Policy

Bus profile in mountain settingIt is the policy of our company to maintain close communication with our client.

Reesby's makes every effort to minimise subcontracting to airport transfers only, but at peak season this is not always possible.
